Govt Reporting

Did you know that Centrelink will not accept an income report of 16 hours worked for $0? And yet, the Govt thinks completing that actual work is legal when it is called an 'internship' or 'placement'.

Where do you stand on this issue? I've already completed approx. 136 hours unpaid in my career, should I be able to claim it back in tax or something? How does that then calculate into the three-five years I've spent on Govt allowances? While we're here, can anyone explain inflation to me? If things keep going up every year, how do we keep things affordable with a 2% pay increase over a single decade? Help.
